The Bioregions of western Ecuador: The Chocoan forests and Equatorial Pacific Dry forests, geographical patterns and floristic composition. The seasonally phenology of native plants in Equatorial Pacific Dry forests. Horizontal precipitation as a driving force of microclimates, microhabitats, and local endemism. Taxonomic discoveries on native plants in the region.
